1953 Pg. 1 by Sketch-Zap 1953 Pg. 1 by Sketch-Zap

Aaccckk
So here it is.
The first page.
Don't kill me if this takes forever. Because these pages actually do, ehehe...
Anyway next page should be up in a few days. :iconsurethingjohnnyplz: Hopefully tomorrow given all I have to do tomorrow is do the laundry and go to driver's ed at six.
I know very well that TF2 takes place in the 60's. Just thought to clear that up. 1953 is a significant number, though. Also ~MadJesters1 is making a much nicer comic, about the same stuff. (Portal and TF2 crossover) No I am not copying Jesterperson. At least I hope not, we may have some similar ideas. Don't kill me please. (By the way you should totally check out their comic. :D)
This is in watercolor and dip ink pen. Might change it up later though. :iconwoooplz: You never know what I'll do.

Mulligan but yes. I assume you have a relation or you yourself have the same last name?

Ahahaha you'll see. It'll be awhile, but you'll see. 1953 is a special year in this story. Also, if you have ever played Portal, it is in there somewhere...:iconwoooplz:

Freaking AWESOME style and execution!! Just going through your pages of this comic again and admiring them.

I have a stupid question I kinda hope you could help me with, if it's not too much trouble. I see that you use water media, and have done a fantastic job transferring it to the digital world. What methods do you use to do so? Is it your scanner? Fancy software? Do you have a robot unicorn that captures images and downloads them to you DA with its mind?

Thank you for any reply, and stay amazing.

 Aw, thanks for all the flattery! It's stuff like this that makes me keep on going. :D

And that is not a stupid question, but rather a very important one. I do not use a robot unicorn, *sigh* for they cost a lot of money, but I do have an HP scanner that somewhat likes me, haha! Of course the scanner is too small for the page, so I scan four separate images for each page, (one for each corner) at about 300 dpi (dots per inch) and then piece it all together on Photoshop. So scanner + software. Also the scanner does a bad job at capturing the color, so I mess around with contrast, brightness, and this cool thing called "gamma" after I scan the image.
I got a youtube account, I could make you a video if you'd like- maybe, I'm not sure if my camera would like to work for me or not. But I could try.

And I always reply to comments! :D

Those are very good places for me to start. I have a nice new Epson, and I've looked online for answers, but that route hasn't been nearly as helpful as what you just told me. I don't have Photoshop, but I'm hoping GIMP will prove satisfactory.

You are very kind to give me all these great tips, and to reply so quickly. I'll keep an eye out for any robot unicorns on sale for you. Best regards!

GIMP should do the trick. If you need any more help, just let me know. :)

An thanks, I just really like talking. Also, for the responding quickly part- I have no life, pretty much, haha! And thank you, you know those robot unicorns are very good to have.

Also, people keep showing me pictures of your oil painting! It looked good. I wanna see it in person, though, I'm sure the pictures don't do it justice. :3

Yeah, cameras and scanners seem to have a hard time getting more than just a picture of it. I'd be awesome if you could see it!

Hahaa, there are some stubborn people out there. It's hilarious, like in your case, when both opponents are determined to take or keep the intel.

Water color is awesome, though I would like to do digital art but i dont have a tab :P and i feel the pictures would sort of be lost if i scanned it onto the comupter.

YEah, the quality isn't nearly as nice as it is physically. Nonetheless, I paint better traditionally, even with my tablet. Digital art is so challenging for me, but I'm doing my best to get better at it.

Watercolor is challenging at first, but now since my art teacher has shown me how to work it, I can control it much much much easier. Thank you!

It's probably going to go through a crazy winding road, slide off a curve, and down a cliff.
And then the parachutes will deploy.
